Summary: Drive Engineering is currently seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer with 0-5 years of highway design experience. This individual will primarily perform varying tasks related to highway design and traffic engineering associated with roadway construction projects and highway occupancy permit projects with the opportunity to move on to larger regional transportation projects.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Primary job responsibilities will include plan development, design calculations, field surveys, construction services, and technical writing related to various aspects of civil engineering on various highway projects. 

Education and Requirements

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering is required
• MS Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on transportation engineering is preferred
• EIT/FE Certification Required
• PE Certification Preferred
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
• Familiarity with PennDOT publications and standards, MUTCD, and AASHTO guidelines
