Job Type: Full time – Exempt (40 hours/week)
Reports To: Lead Systems Engineer / Principle
Summary: Drive Engineering is currently seeking a highly motivated consultant engineer with 2-5 years of experience to work on various transportation and tolling industry projects. Relevant experience may include consultant engineering in the transportation, tolling, transit, or other related industry and/or technical experience with Intelligent Transportation Systems, network engineering, data analytics, systems engineering studies/report development, gaps analysis, transition planning, and concept of operations for large transportation or transit agencies. Typical projects include development, design, and implementation of ITS and connected/autonomous vehicle programs, tolling technology, integrated corridor management systems, and other electrical and communications systems (mainly fiber optic and wireless).
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Primary job responsibilities will include managing and contributing to projects and tasks for the Systems Engineering Team as determined by the Lead Systems Engineer.

Work Environment: This job generally operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Travel: Limited travel is expected for this position.
