Marketing Coordinator

Job Description

Drive Engineering is a leading and successful diverse business (DBE/MBE) providing Transportation Engineering services consisting of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Traffic Engineering, Incident Management, and Operations. Our staff is experienced in all project aspects from the early planning stages to project completion, including plans, specifications, and estimate (PS&E) development and construction design services for both design-bid-build and design-build projects. Drive is involved in innovative and cutting-edge projects that promote safety, reduce congestion, and provide sustainable social and environmental impacts. Drive currently operates in over 10 states throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region and continues to grow at a rapid pace.


Drive Engineering is currently seeking a highly motivated Marketing Coordinator with 5 years or more of experience, to perform a variety of marketing duties and skilled tasks to support office operations in a growing 60-person engineering firm. Drive is looking for a creative and self-driven individual to help maintain the growth of the company. Drive understands work/life balance and routinely works with our employees to meet their needs.


  

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Assists with preparation of proposals and qualifications documents.
  • Create and update internal information including project sheet, resumes,      evaluations, and overviews.
  • Assist with website and social media updates.
  • Assist with the creation of marketing materials including banners, postcards, and      conference related materials.
  • Assist with certification renewals.
  • Develop print materials, digital applications, and internal/external branding.
  • Collaborate with marketing and project managers to conceptualize design materials with high visual impact for use in business development.
  • Conduct photo shoots for project sites and other business development initiatives.
  • Help create design layouts and templates (proposal design, qualifications      design, communications plan design).
  • Review materials for design consistency with the brand.
  • Support other day-to-day marketing tasks.
  • Assist with maintenance of CRM database (Vantagepoint).
  • Attend conferences and industry events as needed.
  • Assist with company events and internal planning.


Required Skills and Competencies

  • Accuracy and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
  • Basic understanding of office equipment, administrative procedures, and systems such as file management, scanning, and report formatting.
  • Ability to work independently and reliably.
  • Flexible and adaptable in various situations and when interacting with many      different personalities.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire, familiarity with the roles and function      of the assigned department(s).


Education and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of Engineering industry and willingness to learn and understand company capabilities.


Work Environment

This job generally operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.


Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however, the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.


Travel

Travel is not expected but may be needed from time to time to visit project sites, attend conferences, and be present at meetings and other events.

Salary: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

  • 8-hour shift

  • 2-5 years (engineering background preferred)


Work Location:

  • One location, in person – Lansdale, PA


Work Remotely:

  • No – but potential for remote work for special events.
