Summary: Drive Engineering is currently seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer with 0-5 years of experience to work on various transportation and tolling industry projects. Relevant experience may include engineering, management, and/or technical experience related to Intelligent Transportation Systems, network engineering, data analytics, systems engineering studies/report development, gaps analysis, transition planning, and concept of operations development for transportation or transit agencies. Typical projects include development of documents related to ITS and connected/autonomous vehicle programs, tolling technology, integrated corridor management systems, and other electrical and communications systems (mainly fiber optic and wireless).

Primary job responsibilities will include supporting the development of standard operating procedures, concepts of operations, and other technical studies, reports, and documentation for municipal and regional transportation management centers in the Mid-Atlantic Region. This job generally operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
